Amy Foster began practicing yoga 13 years ago and quickly discovered how much it improved her health. When she was young, Amy was hospitalized for a severe stomach virus that was followed by years of chronic pain, inflammation and fatigue. After several doctors, alternative medicine and therapies, she started attending yoga classes and experienced relief that lasted far longer than any other treatment she had tried. Yoga also gave her the space to connect, listen and grow mentally, emotionally and in her faith as well. Amy went to yoga teacher training through Yahweh Yoga and graduated with her RYT200 in July 2011. Amy went on to complete her RYT500 certification in August 2018. She now enjoys teaching yoga in various locations to adults and children. Other loves include her husband, 2 daughters, the outdoors, dancing, painting, reading, and nutrition.
